Jason Rezaian, a journalist for the Washington Post, has been imprisoned for the past year in Iran and is currently on trial for “espionage and three other serious crimes, including ‘collaborating with hostile governments’ and ‘propaganda against the establishment.’”
He’s also one of people Major Garrett referred to being held on “trumped up charges” that got President Obama so angry when questioned about it last week:

The Washington Post has written that President Obama needs to work harder to secure Rezaian’s release, but we’re not sure today’s flub is what they had in mind.
