Earlier today, Hillary Clinton cheered on the Iowa Supreme Court as it ruled that the state’s ban on prescribing abortion-inducing pills via a video chat was unconstitutional:
And then in her next tweet, she cheered on Pope Francis and what he had to say yesterday about global warming and the environment:
Both tweets are signed “H” which means Hillary wrote them herself. Here’s how it looks on her timeline:
It’s even worse than the optics of it, however. As we reported yesterday, in the encyclical released yesterday by Pope Francis that Hillary is referring to, he specifically wrote that global warming rhetoric is “incompatible” with support of abortion:
120. Since everything is interrelated, concern for the protection of nature is also incompatible with the justification of abortion. How can we genuinely teach the importance of concern for other vulnerable beings, however troublesome or inconvenient they may be, if we fail to protect a human embryo, even when its presence is uncomfortable and creates difficulties? “If personal and social sensitivity towards the acceptance of the new life is lost, then other forms of acceptance that are valuable for society also wither away”.
So this means Hillary is willfully misstating what Pope Francis had to say about abortion and global warming in order to score some cheap political points.
