As we reported, President Obama was at the National Hurricane Center in Miami today and he decided to answer some questions on Twitter about climate change:
Ready to answer your questions on climate change. Let's do this! #AskPOTUS pic.twitter.com/5KrIb5jL6S
— President Obama (@POTUS44) May 28, 2015
Not on trade. Not on health care. Not on ISIS. On climate change.
But it took him only four questions before he got “bored” answering questions on his chosen topic and answered a question on the NBA playoffs instead:
And there you go. after 4-tweets, Obama is bored with climate change — back to sports & NBA Finals. #Warriors https://t.co/KYTsIfCeED

Here’s the question and answer:
.@POTUS will JR Smith heat up enough in the Finals to destroy the O-Zone and the Warriors? #AskPOTUS
— Nathen Vieira (@NathenVieira) May 28, 2015
.@NathenVieira jr smith having a great season but the heart of the Cavs is Lebron. And no one can outshoot Curry – maybe Korver if wide open
— President Obama (@POTUS44) May 28, 2015
As a reminder, it’s President Obama who wants us to believe climate change is a national security threat, yet he wastes time with basketball?
Later he answered this question:
@POTUS the climate is great, how do you feel about the firing of coach Tom Thibodeau? #AskPOTUS @chicagobulls

.@apat246 @chicagobulls love thibs and think he did a great job. Sorry to see him go but expect he will be snatched up soon by another team.

This is what President Obama thinks is important?
In total, President Obama took 11 questions, 2 of which — 18% — were on the NBA. If climate change really is the threat President Obama says it is, he should start acting like it.
