ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith has his priorities a little messed up.
First up, Smith is hopping mad that Tom Brady dared skip the big New England Patriots meet-and-greet with President Obama at the White House last week. Brady said he had “family obligation” and that’s why he had to miss the trip, but that wasn’t good enough for Smith who went on this rant saying Brady didn’t show Obama the proper “respect”:

The right way? Isn't he the FACE of the franchise? I mean, come on!!! All I'm saying is RESPECT THE OFFICE. Regardless of what your views

May be. Obama is the POTUS. The face of any franchise should always show any POTUS that respect. Period. Have a wonderful weekend folks.

Now let’s compare Smith’s harsh tone for Brady with his positively gentle treatment of professional boxer Floyd Mayweather, shall we?
Mayweather, despite having been twice-convicted on domestic violence charges, is getting ready to earn a huge pay-day in a fight vs. Manny Pacquiao and that’s just fine with Smith:

Yes, Stephen A. Smith, the main criticism of Floyd Mayweather is that he's "bad at spending his money." Thank you for your journalism.

Yeah — “journalism” on display.
