Sarah Silverman tweeted a message to her fans in Israel last night coming out in favor of the leftist Meretz party in next week’s election:

Silverman, however, joined a host of other Hollywood celebrities who signed onto a statement highly critical of Hamas during the 2014 war.

While we stand firm in our commitment to peace and justice, we must also stand firm against ideologies of hatred and genocide which are reflected in Hamas’ charter, Article 7 of which reads, “There is a Jew hiding behind me, come on and kill him!” The son of a Hamas founder has also commented about the true nature of Hamas.

Sounds more like Bibi than Meretz, which was highly critical of Netanyahu at the time. Does Silverman know that?
