46-year-old Craig Stephen Hicks of Chapel Hill, NC has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder in the shooting death of three Muslim students at the Finley Forrest condominium complex near the University of North Carolina campus at a little after 5 p.m. yesterday afternoon.
Information on the murdered students via the News & Observer:
Deah Shaddy Barakat, 23, and his wife Yusor Abu-Salha, 21, and Abu-Salha’s sister, Razan Abu-Salha, 19, of Raleigh.
Barakat is a doctoral student in UNC-Chapel Hill’s School of Dentistry. The sisters are N.C. State University students. Chapel Hill police found all three victims dead at the scene, after responding to a report of gunshots on Summerwalk Circle at 5:11 p.m. Tuesday.
And…
Police worked early into the morning trying to piece together what happened. Police have not offered a motive for the shootings.
Twitter users are using the hashtags #ChapelHillShooting and #MuslimLivesMatter, currently the No. 2 and No. 4 nationally trending topics respectively, to express their grief as well as their anger at the MSM for a perceived lack of coverage of the story:

The fact that twitter is doing a better job of covering the #ChapelHillShooting than the media is massively concerning. Why no headlines?

If you ever needed to know what the medias agenda is regarding Islam, their silence over #ChapelHillShooting should probably tell you.

Mainstream media is not reporting it. Let's ask about this. Let's talk about it. Don't let them sweep it under the rug. #MuslimLivesMatter

It does look, however, that the MSM is covering the story this morning:
