How mad are parents, teachers and students at Fairfax County Public Schools for not canceling classes today as a major snow storm ravages the area? This angry:
#closeFCPS is the number one trend in the nation right now and 3rd in the world. That's how you know

More from the Washington Post:
On social media, there were plenty of comments and the hastag #closeFCPS gained popularity. Some students appeared to tweet that teachers were not at schools and there were several reports of delayed buses.
Well having teachers not show up would make people pretty angry.
Reports on Twitter suggest that kids are being housed in cafeterias and auditoriums because of the teacher situation as well as problems with buses that never showed up to bring kids to school:
And for the teachers to not be here makes it look worse on them #closefcps

#CloseFCPS The only reason Fairfax won't close schools is $$$$ they don't care about kids' safety. Teachers can't get in so kids rot in cafe

Teachers out, buses broken down/unable to get up streets, kids walking on busy streets b/c buses don't show. Brilliant @fcpsnews #closefcps

And a lot of the outrage has been directed personally at Karen Garza, the Superintendent of Fairfax County Public Schools:
students: we should prob close
karen garza: nah fam
students: aight just let us die #closeFCPS http://t.co/fxamcXE3b7— cam Salemi (@cameronsalemi) January 6, 2015
Our "world class" school system fails again. Garza is out of her league. #closeFCPS
