The Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, John Brennan, is set to give a rare public press conference at 1:30 p.m. EST today to defend the agency from accusations levied in the Senate’s just released report on interrogation techniques.
But right now press secretary Josh Earnest is answering questions on just what might come up at the presser as well as offering a strong defense of the director. Some excerpts and reaction:
