As world leaders gather in Beijing for the 2014 Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, one of the top issues to be discussed is trade. And it just so happens that the “10th biennial China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition” — an airshow for Chinese defense contractors to show off their latest and greatest — is being held concurrently with the APEC meetings, allowing the aforementioned world leaders to be on hand as China introduces it’s new product for export, the J-31 (FC-31) stealth fighter:

Many on Twitter are noticing the similarities between the J-31 and the U.S. F-35:

Well, one of the items on President Obama’s agenda is to discuss corporate espionage and Chinese hacking of American businesses. Maybe the J-31 will be discussed?
