President Obama held a “rare” Saturday-night meeting “convening national security staffers and public health officials to discuss the threat of Ebola.” Twitchy reported that the president was golfing earlier in the day, which might help explain why the meeting had to be held late at night. Golf first, Ebola second?

Anyway, one important person was noticeably missing from what looks to have been an important meeting:

Oof. How do you hold a meeting to discuss Ebola and not invite the Ebola czar?

Well, this rare view into what really goes on in the Obama White House might explain it:

We love that he invited Ebola, too (just to the president’s right).

And check out all the “doctors” in the room, including the all important “Dr Pepper”!

More snark:

Did the Pentagon just take over for the CDC to respond to Ebola outbreaks INSIDE the U.S.?

‘A little late?’: CDC to issue ‘more stringent’ Ebola guidelines ‘soon’

Would more funding have produced Ebola vaccine? No scientific consensus
