Mark Levin calls out the 'media hacks' covering the White House

There’s a big Washington Post piece up today that details how “Obama’s press aides have demanded — and received — changes in press-pool reports” before those reports are sent out to other journalists. That the White House is involved — regardless of the nature of the changes — in shaping the coverage is troubling, but why are we just hearing about it now?

Mark Levin has the answer:

Yep. Media hacks, indeed.

And just how high up the chain of command does this hackery extend? Here’s your answer from the Washington Bureau Chief for the New York Times:

She doesn’t know if this is occurring? If only the Washington Bureau Chief of the New York Times had some reporters it could assign to such a story and get to the bottom of it.

The Post goes on to report that the White House Correspondents’ Association will “consider revising its approach to pool reporting.”

We expect the changes will come into effect sometime around January 2017.
