As Twitchy's Warren Squire reported earlier, CBS 'News' informed the public that there would be 'No Kings' day merch available from Amazon and Temu.
The protesters themselves, however, seem to be Temu quality, at best.
Where have all the real protesters gone?

Is this the best you've got, Democrats?
Back in the day, if you were standing on one end of the Edmund Pettus Bridge, about to cross to the other side, you knew there was a high likelihood you were staring down the barrel of a beating.

#OnThisDay in 1965, 600 marchers were attacked on #Selma’s Edmund Pettus Bridge during a Voting Rights protest. Known as #BloodySunday, this march was one of 3 from Selma to Montgomery. More: https://t.co/OIqWpgi0OS #APeoplesJourney #ANationsStory pic.twitter.com/02CH0UVX2S

I had endless disagreements with the politics of John Lewis, but he had real skin in the game in Selma.

Imagine being a high school student, facing off with mobs of angry Democrats who would rather have seen you dead than attend school.

How about opposing a real king who could have you killed?
Now THOSE were activists.
.@TheBigBasham and I out having lunch in the historic town of Salisbury, North Carolina. We happened to wander through a little No Kings protest. Almost entirely gray heads. Don’t think we saw a person under 40.

These are just larping boomers reliving their glory days. pic.twitter.com/k6oIRlKFDi
Democrat activism for decades has been nearly entirely comprised of old hippies who miss the thrill of spitting on Vietnam vets returning home from war. Most probably never participated in the civil rights protests that actually required some courage.
The younger participants are those who have heard stories of the glory days of protesting, feel they missed out, and want to somehow recreate a modern-day version for themselves to stroke their egos. Oh, but they want it without any risk.

Protesters are largely off-limits in modern American society. That's exactly how it should be, if they're not breaking the law.
If they're left-wingers, however, it seems they can commit any number of crimes, from blocking traffic, trespassing, vandalism, and scuffling with police, as long as they slap the label 'peaceful protest' on it. What is their reward for this 'peaceful' law-breaking? The coveted leftist merit badge: a cosplay arrest.

'Ooh! Look at me! I got arrested for the cause!'
It's all such a joke. They have nothing to lose, and our overly sensitive society only encourages more of it.
Peaceful protest, by the way, doesn't include breaking the law, and rioting is not 'protest'. Try explaining that to the Democrats running the mainstream media.
Only rarely are we treated to the glorious sight of one of these losers taking a nard shot with a pepper ball.
A shot right to the nuts. Perfectly placed.

(Yes, that's an old video and unrelated to recent riots or protests, but it's nearly a classic at this point!)
These are a different breed of activist leftist. They generally crawl out from Mom's basement after dark. They are willing to commit greater crimes of vandalism and violence to sow chaos. 'Rioter' is the appropriate label for these people, not 'protester'. These are the people we saw last week in Los Angeles.
Thankfully, they don't seem to have a presence at the 'No Kings' day protests.

These are mostly the merch-buying, protesting-is-cool types. And you know what? More power to them. I think most of your cooked-up protests are dumb, but it's your right. Keep it peaceful, don't break laws, and I'll just laugh at how dumb it is.
Take this latest nonsense these discount demonstrators dreamt up …
'Hey, we should protest kings!'
Yeah, you missed that one by about 250 years, folks, but have a great time!
Coral Springs is lit...lol. Anyway someone really should tell these folks that The USA has had a 'No Kings Day' yearly since 1776. It's called the Fourth of July. pic.twitter.com/Lq5C7biOeZ

Let's not pretend that 'No Kings' day is anything other than the 3,286th 'I hate Trump' day.
Maybe I'm being a bit unfair to the modern Democrat protester. The reality is they're not facing Jim Crow laws, segregation, or tyrant kings of flesh and blood.
If you have the freedom to hold widespread "no kings" protests across the country, your government does not have a king
— Kyle Mann (@The_Kyle_Mann) June 14, 2025
They live a comparably soft life to most who came before them, but they still crave the high of 'doing something' for the cause. The result is the absurdity of pretending you're battling a king. It must be tough to be among the most coddled people in all of human history while coveting the self-importance of standing up to a tyrant you had to invent because a real one could not be found.
The aesthetics of Boomer liberalism are very different from its younger counterpart. The geriatric No Kings Day protestors are decked out in American flags. They're holding signs saying "I ❤️ THE CONSTITUTION." It's a study in contrasts.
