A little over a week ago, a judge put a halt on Donald Trump taking control over the California National Guard and Gavin Newsom rubbed it in the president's face:
The courts have ruled.

The Guard will be back under my command — and Donald Trump will be relieved of his command at noon tomorrow. pic.twitter.com/ZV3eC6MZ9u
Now we know that Trump can keep control of the National Guard in California after an Appeals Court ruling last night:
An appeals court on Thursday allowed President Donald Trump to keep control of National Guard troops he deployed to Los Angeles following protests over immigration raids.
The decision halts a ruling from a lower court judge who found Trump acted illegally when he activated the soldiers over opposition from California Gov. Gavin Newsom.
The deployment was the first by a president of a state National Guard without the governor’s permission since 1965.
Sorry, Gov. Newsom!
But look how Gavin tried to spin the big fat L as a W:
Donald Trump is not a king and not above the law.

Tonight, the court rightly rejected Trump’s claim that he can do whatever he wants with the National Guard and not have to explain himself to a court.
We will not let this authoritarian use of military soldiers against citizens…
Hey, he tried.

Is it pretty safe to say you’ve gotten very used to losing at this point?

Man, that’s gotta be embarrassing.
You'd think they'd just give up at this point but nope.

"Your arm's off!"
"No it isn't..."
And Newsom calling Trump an authoritarian will never not be rich:
He arrested a dude surfing alone during his Covid era King-like tyrannical rule.

Never, ever, EVER forget! https://t.co/tSS8Wk0YiH
He's just as shameless as they come.
