The Lincoln Project has been serving up a lot of backfire lately.
Just a couple months after Trump took office they asked if people felt better off than they were eight weeks ago, and the replies certainly didn't go the way they hoped.
Apparently The Lincoln Project hasn't yet reached this year's quota of self-owns, because they've issued a response to these comments from Trump adviser Stephen Miller:
Stephen Miller says the White House is looking into suspending habeas corpus, which protects people from unlawful detentions: "A lot of it depends on whether the courts do the right thing or not." pic.twitter.com/AZLhFy79oZ

I laughed out loud when I ran across this reaction:
Suspending habeas corpus. Let that sink in. https://t.co/Ik80lIKvuJ

It just might be!
The LP might want to read up on the president their faux "conservative" group is named after.

Imagine tweeting that from The Lincoln Project account without any pangs of self-awareness. Incredible.
