President Trump being elected as Chairman of the Board of the Kennedy Center has caused some of the usual hyperventilation on the Left. Other changes were made in leadership as well:
The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts announces executive leadership changes, effective immediately. At a Kennedy Center Board meeting this afternoon, the Board elected President of the United States Donald J. Trump as Kennedy Center Board Chair, replacing former Chair David M. Rubenstein. The Board also terminated Kennedy Center President Deborah F. Rutter’s contract and announced Richard Grenell as interim Kennedy Center President.
Fourteen new Kennedy Center Board of Trustee members were also announced today including President Donald J. Trump, Susie Wiles, Dan Scavino, Allison Lutnick, Lynda Lomangino, Mindy Levine, Usha Vance, Pamela Gross, John Falconetti, Cheri Summerall, Sergio Gor, Emilia May Fanjul, Patricia Duggan, Dana Blumberg, bringing the total number of board members to 31.
Because Trump is involved means the media has to set their hair on fire over what happens next at the Kennedy Center. The Daily Beast now has a story making the rounds titled "Leak reveals Trump's full bonkers plan for the Kennedy Center."
Just how "bonkers" are Trump's plans? Is he going to turn the Kennedy Center into a petting zoo? A Trump hotel? Raze the whole building as a sacrifice to DOGE? Turn it into a Spirit Halloween store?
The Daily Beast's report about Trump's "bonkers" changes might send libs to a fainting couch while clutching pearls:

Traditionally, only those in the performing arts sphere are recognized with gongs, but Trump thinks figures in sports, politics and business could also be honored.
So basically it depends on what your definition of "bonkers" is.

The Left is applauding arsonists torching Teslas but think Trump talking about bringing "Cats" to the Kennedy Center is lunacy. Go figure.
