Former Obama-era Defense Secretary Robert Gates once claimed in a book -- and later doubled down -- that Joe Biden has been wrong on foreign policy his entire lifelong political career (Biden's been wrong about everything else too):
That official, former Defense Secretary Robert Gates, first expressed his displeasure with Biden's foreign policy positions in a 2014 memoir titled, "Duty: Memoirs of a Secretary at War," writing that although Biden was a man of integrity, he believed the former senator and then-vice president had "been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades."
Gates doubled down on those claims when asked about his book during a 2021 interview on CBS' "60 Minutes," saying, "I think he’s gotten a lot wrong." He then pointed to what he said was Biden’s opposition to "every one of Ronald Reagan’s military programs to contest the Soviet Union," the first Gulf War, and to their differences concerning the war in Afghanistan.
Biden was also opposed to the raid to kill Osama bin Laden, and unfortunately we all know what happened during his tragically botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, a disaster that led to a grand total of zero people in this administration being held accountable.
However, today there was good news out of Israel. Four hostages were rescued inside Gaza and they are reportedly doing well:

Excellent news:
The Israel Defense Forces carried out a daring operation Saturday morning that successfully rescued alive four hostages who had been held by Hamas for the last eight months.
A joint statement released by the IDF, Shin Bet, and Israeli police said a "complex operation" liberated Noa Argamani (25), Almog Meir (21), Andrei Kozlov (27), and Shlomi Ziv (40) — all four of which were kidnapped by Hamas from the Nova Music Festival during the Iran-backed terrorists' October 7 massacre.

The hostages were being held in civilian homes -- some of the "civilians" Biden insists are the reason the U.S. needs to keep sending aid into Gaza that's ending up in Hamas' hands:

The Israeli hostages boldly rescued today were being held in civilian homes. This has been true since October 7. Civilians lined the streets, cheering when the hostages were taken into the Gaza Strip eight months ago. The same kind of civilians who cheered after 9/11.

If Israeli leadership had listened to Biden and Blinken, the hostages would still be in Gaza. Biden's record of being consistently wrong remains intact (though in this case, they weren't "wrong" as much as they were trying to appease the pro-Hamas wing of the Democrat Party in the U.S.):
Had Israel listened to Joe Biden, the four hostages wouldn't have been rescued.

Worse yet, Biden keeps getting opportunities to make his record even worse. I shudder to think how the Biden White House will react to this (which wouldn't be happening if Biden wasn't in the WH):

The Biden State Department might end up sending James Taylor to Cuba.
In France, the White House was desperate to draw comparisons between Biden and Reagan, and now they're working on Joe's own Bay of Pigs so they can call him "Kennedy-esque."
