President Trump met today with state and local officials to discuss school safety. Something the president said about school shooters rubbed CNN’s Brooke Baldwin the wrong way:
I wonder how people suffering from mental illness in this country feel about @realDonaldTrump calling them "sickos."

Trump was apparently referencing the types of people who go on murderous rampages:

For a moment, here’s Baldwin’s question being answered with a question:

I wonder how law abiding people who have never hurt anyone in this country feel about all those people on CNN saying the organization they're a part of is a terrorist organization?#tweetsBrookewillnevertweet https://t.co/CddSwZpvAh

CNN personnel might not have enough self-awareness to ask themselves that question.
Idk Brooke. Maybe the same way NRA members feel being called murders. https://t.co/56k7XmjWh0

Just something to consider, Brooke.

I wonder why you're defending sickos who set out to shoot a bunch of people. https://t.co/lh6ceKhohi

So you're worried about how we might hurt potential mass shooters' feelings? Isn't that kind of the problem that brought us where we are today? Dumbest observation ever. #CNN getting stupider by the day. https://t.co/khPLkaXnhV
