As Twitchy reported early Thursday, Fox News founder Roger Ailes passed away at age 77. Bette Midler marked Ailes’ death this way:
I would be remiss is I didn't note the death of #rogerailes, the one man responsible for the poisoning of civil political discourse in US.

Naturally Midler wouldn’t like somebody who started a media outlet that didn’t fall in line with the “mainstream” established liberal venues, but the tone of her tweet was seen as ironic as it gets:
Maybe don't decry poisoning of civil discourse while dancing on someone's grave. Just a thought https://t.co/Eb6HvOUuTf

Nice of you to let us know that anyone that thinks different then you is "poisoning the political discourse!" https://t.co/e1GAiwomro
