Democrats in Congress and their supporters are being critical of House Speaker Paul Ryan for not turning on microphones and cameras during the House Dems’ sit-in:
"Mr. Speaker, turn on this microphone," says Pelosi now pic.twitter.com/PLqh8Qx7tP

Hero @repjohnlewis is leading a sit-in on gun violence & @SpeakerRyan shut off the camera so you can’t watch. Shameful. #NoBillNoBreak

Republicans have turned off the cameras in the House of Representatives so that public can't see gun control protest! Stunning.

Pelosi and the Dems didn’t seem to mind so much when somebody else did it:

Pelosi now calling on Ryan to "turn on this microphone." Just FYI – When Rs did that to her in 2008 (Pelosi was speaker then), she said no.

House Dems have double standards? No way!
#NoBillNoBreak well, except when @NancyPelosi does it. https://t.co/GWq6KhALmz
