In a vein similar to the NY Daily News’ front page story accusing the NRA and GOP of helping terrorists in the U.S. obtain weapons, New Republic’s Brian Beutler tried to point out how you might be bigoted and not even realize it:
There are many more armed loons in the U.S. than committed jihadis. Being scared of the latter, but not the former, is revealed bigotry.

It certainly does reveal something.
Are you trying out for Salon? https://t.co/gQJLvoc8pd

Could be.
How many non-jihadi random loons are hoping to set off a dirty bomb in DC and NY someday? https://t.co/nYYY4dqXQT

Genius at work.
"Armed"in the U.S. does not mean violent.
Jihadis are defacto committed to violence.@brianbeutler https://t.co/21LEiQbA2E— Brad Slager: It's Lt-Col-VP-Rev-Kaiser, SIR ? ? (@MartiniShark) November 18, 2015

After all, committed jihadis have only incinerated my office once. On their second try. https://t.co/CVJKyEfNe6

You should seek help with your irrational fear of fellow citizens exercising their constitutional rights. https://t.co/Ig2S9npdD7

@brianbeutler In the past 20 years, how many times have a group of armed loons massacred 130 and maimed 300 people in one sitting in the US?

Um, the #ParisAttacks show how useless gun control is https://t.co/enR2nvgGGA

@brianbeutler An absolutely preposterous statement.

.@brianbeutler Wow, sounds like a really dangerous country. Maybe all those helpless widows & orphans should stay safe in Scandanavia.
