HuffPost Live host Josh Zepps doesn’t seem to understand why people in Ferguson, Mo. don’t move elsewhere, and even suggested a possible alternative:

To sum things up:

Holy shit. That dude has both the left and right smacking him down right now.

Yep.
Zepps got criticism, reality checks and guffaws from all sides:
#Ferguson is 67% African American and 29% White, @joshzepps. Yet you ask why AA's don't move somewhere less racist? Think a little next time

.@joshzepps asking people why they don’t just move across the country reduces to asking them if they’ve tried being rich.

@RBPundit Yes. Entitled Raybanned hipsters opining on a town they have never visited.

Yup. Laughable, even. RT @freddoso @RBPundit @joshzepps Idea that MA is less racist is completely ludicrous, btw.
— RBe (@RBPundit) August 13, 2014
Define "racist shithole" because Ferguson is predominantly black. https://t.co/Ra0MFSKwgt @joshzepps
— RBe (@RBPundit) August 13, 2014
Area "journalist" calls a town that is 68% black a "racist shithole." https://t.co/Ra0MFSKwgt
— RBe (@RBPundit) August 13, 2014
@RBPundit @joshzepps According to the FBI, in 2012, Massachusetts had more hate crimes (190) than "racist shithole" Missouri (121).
— Leif (@Funkorific) August 13, 2014
Right now, @joshzepps is finding out that Massachussetts and Missouri have roughly the same size population and going "FUCK!"
— RBe (@RBPundit) August 13, 2014
@yayayarndiva dear @joshzepps #Boston is one of the most racially segregated cities in the United States. 70s busing, anyone?
— Julio Ricardo Varela (@julito77) August 13, 2014
@RBPundit @joshzepps Idea that MA is less racist is completely ludicrous, btw.

.@Joshzepps because not everyone has the means to pick up their life and move across the country? Are you serious right now?
— This Machine Kills Fascists (@RoyalHoeliness) August 13, 2014
@joshzepps Telling people living in an area of concentrated poverty that they should just move is a bit insensitive to their reality.
— Pleurotus (@cleff413) August 13, 2014
.@joshzepps Yes, famously racist-free Massachusetts.
— Alex Parker (@AlexParkerDC) August 13, 2014
Josh Zepps is every kid I went to Penn with who swore they were insightful and liberal and just liked being seen running their mouths
— ???Rap Game Gorgon ??? (@Blackamazon) August 13, 2014
@joshzepps you might want to google "busing" and "boston" and "1972"
— robogreen (@robogreen) August 13, 2014
@JohnnyGolightly @joshzepps mighty delusional to think northern states like Massachusetts don't have "overt racism"
— P Mimi Poinsett MD (@yayayarndiva) August 13, 2014
Perhaps in the interim the Kennedys, Kerrys and their friends would offer people places to stay in Massachusetts:
