CNN snitches on baseball players who 'did not wear LGBTQ logos on their uniforms'

June is “Pride Month” and many, including the U.S. Marine Corps Twitter account and NASCAR, have made their participation clear. However, apparently not all members of the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team took part in “Pride Night” at the ballpark, and CNN was all over it:

This has “Pulitzer” written all over it:

Several players on the Tampa Bay Rays did not wear LGBTQ logos on their uniforms for the team’s Pride Night celebration during Saturday’s game against the Chicago White Sox.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, at least five Rays baseball players – pitchers Jason Adam, Jalen Beeks, Brooks Raley, Jeffrey Springs and Ryan Thompson – declined to wear the uniforms which featured rainbow logos on the caps and jerseys.

Adam addressed the situation on behalf of the players who opted out, telling the Tampa Bay Times that it was a “faith-based decision” and that it wasn’t “judgmental.”

Hey, at least CNN hasn’t sent any reporters to their homes… yet.

As mask usage is dwindling the snitch media has to find something else to focus on, all in the name of “journalism.”

Irony can be so ironic sometimes.

CNN would like to talk to those players about their flair:

Classic.
