Remember when President Biden was in Poland speaking with US troops and told them what they would see in Ukraine? The White House quickly attempted to clean up that remark, saying there would not ever be any U.S. troops in Ukraine. Biden didn’t make things better at the time:
So it seems there really might be something there. Biden sought to clarify his 82 airborne gaffe and perhaps made another consequential mistake.

Today Biden was back to doing his thing again, and the White House might need to clarify yet another presidential promise:
BIDEN: "If I gotta go to war, I'm going with you guys. I mean it." pic.twitter.com/eeCDuaHlNY

“This war could continue for a long time. But the United States will continue to stand with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people in the fight for freedom, and I just want you to know that. And by the way, if I gotta go to war I’m goin’ with you guys.”
And by “I” Biden means definitely not him personally.
It’s a little confusing, considering the people in Biden’s audience:
Why is he telling this to trade unions? https://t.co/eXKj4PnV9A

We’re pretty sure Biden talking to the Ukrainian people in that clip. Weren’t we told Trump was the president who would be eager to get into a war?
There he goes again…. https://t.co/CNgHxArUk1

He obviously won’t actually be going, but he will be more than happy to send your kids. https://t.co/4ZdDxliayT

President “no boots on the ground in Ukraine” sure seems to talk a big “boots on the ground” game, doesn’t he?
Joe Biden has no clue what war means. I do.
It's hell. I'm not at all amused by this and I don't think any veterans are. https://t.co/x0QJlSoD12

So why did he constantly avoid military service when we actually were involved in wars and “conflicts”?

Perhaps the White House press corps can get Jen Psaki to elaborate on Biden’s remark during today’s briefing.
