PETA suggests MLB ballparks change name of ‘bullpen’ to something more sensitive to bulls

It has to do with baseball using the term “bullpen.” PETA has suggested a replacement name because life these days isn’t quite ridiculous enough:

“Bullpen” refers to the area of a “bull’s pen” where bulls are held before they are slaughtered—it’s a word with speciesist roots & we can do better than that.

Considering what we’ve seen from the MLB leadership these past couple years, we wouldn’t doubt that somebody will at least seriously consider PETA’s proposal.
