Brian Stelter kept a close eye on all things Fox News and/or Trump even while many others were enjoying the holidays. One example is this tweet from the CNN watchdog on New Year’s Day:
Seems quiet today, doesn't it? @realDonaldTrump hasn't tweeted since last year.

America surely sleeps better at night knowing there are journalists on duty to monitor those important developments — or lack thereof. But Stelter also shared a Politico story that paints the people who surround Trump as cultish sycophants:
Re: Trump at Mar-a-Lago: "The people around him are increasingly the true believers and it’s almost like a religious revival when he shows up there. They jump up and down, they shout, they scream his praises." https://t.co/tyWlEMJYhV

Who wants to tell him?
In other words, like the press in the Obama years… https://t.co/smKANVaXIV

It’s really true that the MSM can’t remember anything that happened before January 20th, 2017, isn’t it?
But, they don’t get “thrills up their legs” like the media did for Barry. ?♀️

Paging Chris Matthews!
Why, its almost like the Obama years, Tater.
I haven't seen any pics of Trump in a halo or shooting rainbows out of his hands tho, so that's a good thing.— MrsFiveO (@MrsFiveO) January 1, 2020

This (alleged) religious revival atmosphere never happened with Obama, right? You know – the guy who literally changed his accent and cadence to mimic black pastors depending on his audience.?

THIS. Is CNN:
Memo to Brain – The top prime time host on your network spent last night talking on air about the size of male appendages.
Your network has been reduced to laughingstock status.
Kudos.

Fact check: TRUE.
