President Trump’s criticism of Rep. Elijah Cummings and areas of his district in Baltimore haven’t escaped the watchful eye of CNN Newsroom co-anchor and chief national security correspondent Jim Sciutto. But it’s what Trump hasn’t mentioned that had Sciutto performing today’s act of Trump-era journalism:
President Trump has repeatedly assailed conditions in Baltimore. He has not once mentioned the brutal police crackdown in Moscow, where 1400 peaceful protesters have been arrested. https://t.co/tNrwG92CAy

The American president focusing on a city in the U.S. rather than one about 5,000 miles away doesn’t seem like too much of a scoop, but maybe the MSM will think it is:
Maybe that’s because he’s the president of the United States, not Russia. https://t.co/li8h8Q0L7f

Yeah, that could have something to do with it.

Alternate Trump-era “journalism” tweet:
President Trump has repeatedly assailed conditions in Baltimore. He has not one mentioned the rising conflict in Area 51 as millennials plan to riot to see the aliens. https://t.co/fJwycel9JZ

Get on that, CNN!
