President Trump’s recent tweets have sparked a fresh round of editorializing from so-called objective “journalists,” but what do certain corporations think about the president’s comments? A CNN reporter is on it:
Reached out this morning to Amazon, Apple, Walmart, Target, Nike, Under Armour, Patagonia and Levi for thoughts on Trump's racist comments about four minority congresswomen.
Target declined to comment. No response from the others so far.

Editorializing and activism all in one fit of totally objective reporting? And with that, “journalism” in the Trump era drops down yet another notch:

piggly wiggly's silence on antifa violence is deafening.

There’s nothing quite like a reporter reaching out for information that would serve no purpose other than to help the Resistance manufacture another boycott.
Can someone explain to me the purpose of this? https://t.co/IFcxq1vGD9

Why would they comment? What’s your goal here?

Anything that might yield contributions to the Left’s narrative?
What do those companies have to do with this story?
I don't know what this is, but it isn't journalism. https://t.co/hZJg3neMwX

Remember when Target was the Left's sweetheart because they let male sex offenders use the women's bathrooms?

Who did you reach out to about Rashid Tlaib’s anti-Semitic comments?

I reached out to Ace Hardware, Quiznos, and my nephew’s lemonade stand for thoughts on this tweet. So far, everyone just stared blankly. https://t.co/giY5XV8YmG
