Amazon’s decision to tell New York liberal politicians to pound sand had people like Rep. Ocasio-Cortez declaring victory, but NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio reserved some criticism for her and others celebrating Amazon canceling expansion plans in the state. This weekend, however, de Blasio let everybody knows that his socialist impulses remain fully intact:

And who does he think has the “correct” hands? People like Bill de Blasio of course.
De Blasio seemed to be attempting to shore up the progressive base in his “Meet the Press” interview. How? Apparently by saying “progressive” many times:
After rift with @AOC over @Amazon deal, defensive de Blasio feels need to affirm left-wing bona fides. On @MTP, says 3x 'I'm proud progressive,' mentions 'progressive' 14 times, says there's plenty of money but 'in wrong hands.'

Gee, if only he had a dollar for every time he said “progressive” there, he’d… still need to go after billionaires’ money to get what he wants.
Progressive is code word for Socialist. Time to stop using fake words, @BilldeBlasio .

By "In the Wrong Hands", he means money remains in the hands of the people who earned it
