Few Democrats in Congress have matched the accusatory rhetoric about President Trump than Rep. Adam Schiff, and he’s now going on national television to offer predictions about when Trump might actually go to jail, as evidenced by his appearance on Face the Nation on Sunday:
.@AdamSchiff on the Russia Investigation: My takeaway is there's a very real prospect that on the day Donald Trump leaves office the justice department may indict him. That he may be the first president in quite some time to face the real prospect of jail time. pic.twitter.com/3kfwumFkh7

There’s a real prospect that when Trump leaves office, he may be indicted and face the possibility of jail time. Were he not President, he may have already been charged.
While ordinary Americans legally supported campaigns, Trump, like Cohen, played by a different set of rules. pic.twitter.com/URoeRT66RY

When Trump leaves office? That could be over six years away! Schiff’s previous rhetoric about Russia “hacking the election” and colluding with Trump got the Resistance’s hopes up, and many think he’s moving the goal posts on that. Cue the impatience:
He should be subject to arrest and indictment now!

But why? There is nothing specifically stated that says that a sitting President is above the law.

Why wait until he's out of office?, impeach him now………

Why wait till he leaves office. Impeach now!!
— Helene (@CastilloHelenec) December 9, 2018
Why wait that long?
— Herman Andersen (@4Herminator) December 9, 2018
Why isn't he facing charges *now*? He's not a monarch!
— ian2 (@ianinamerica) December 9, 2018
Trump needs to be charged now, not wait. Just because he’s the President should not change that fact. If he’s a criminal, charge him. We’ve had enough!
— DmJ (@ikesoverlord) December 9, 2018
Why wait?
Guilty is guilty
Why is he above the law?— Ice❄️Blue❄️Scoop❄ (@4EverBluz) December 9, 2018
And why should this be? If he committed crimes he should be indicted now.
— FTUknights78 (@FTUknights78) December 9, 2018
When he leaves office?? That is unacceptable. He and the rest of his crime family should be indicted immediately.

Schiff is showing he is onboard with forgoing impeachment processes. Weak

How about sooner.

Next time Schiff better come up with something that will more instantly gratify the Resistance, like what he was saying right after the election that doesn’t seem to be coming to fruition.
He's basically admitting that he's been lying to everyone about Russia for the last 2 years. Politicians really are the lowest form of human. https://t.co/opYqaQORe2

????????? Sounds like a bunch off BullSchiff to me ??? https://t.co/ZfOPM7Onyq

There’s undoubtedly a lot more where that came from.
