The special counsel reportedly reached a deal with Michael Flynn this week, and also released these related heavily redacted documents:

NBC News: There appears, although the redacted documents do not make it completely clear, that there is a separate criminal investigation going on outside of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's purview for which Flynn has been providing significant assistance.

One big takeaway from tonight's court filing — Michael Flynn is apparently helping the government with an investigation entirely separate from the Russia case. The details are totally redacted. pic.twitter.com/Q2rOasNrsY

Even though almost everything’s redacted, that’s enough to fill Rep. Adam Schiff (or Adam “Schitt” as the president once called him) of the Democrat congressional Resistance with fresh optimism:
The recommendation of no jail time for Flynn, apart from its obvious irony for the man who led chants of “lock her up,” reflects both the timeliness and significance of his help. That most of the details are redacted signals he has given far more than we or the President may know

Schiff’s got his fingers crossed so tight you can hear his knuckles crack.
His guideline range was zero to six months, so recommending zero doesn't mean as much as you think it does. https://t.co/Kwe8C1eVoE

So far Schiff’s been wildly off base considering his original claims, but he’s got a narrative to keep pushing no matter what.
