Former CIA director and leader of the anti-Trump Deep State Resistance John Brennan has again brought on his overly dramatic tone after a tweet from the president calling the Russia investigation a “witch hunt.” Brennan predicts a major place for Robert Mueller in future history books, and this is all before his report has even been released:
Your feelings of inferiority, insecurity, vulnerability, and culpability are loud & clear. You remind me of how many corrupt authoritarian leaders abroad behaved before they were deposed. Bob Mueller’s name will be revered in the annals of U.S. history; your name will be scorned. https://t.co/aYnYetwJV1

He seems fairly certain, but irony and projection has been spotted:
Remember, at one of the most crucial moments in the Cold War, America’s future disgraced CIA director Brennan was rooting for the Reds. Irony is no doubt lost on Brennan, who went from condemning CIA election interference abroad to spearheading it at home. https://t.co/6l4bzAsecP https://t.co/DsWROl75SL

Always remember, people: This was the guy who helped get the ball rolling on the Trump investigation–during an election. So let's not pretend politics/personal animus never played a role. https://t.co/fzrHShy2IO

Brennan’s among those who haven’t exactly been disproving accusations about the existence of an anti-Trump Deep State working against him in 2016.
