Among congressional Democrats, few have been more vocal than Rep. Adam Schiff in sounding the alarm about Russian interference in 2016. Recently President Trump’s announcement to declassify and release documents related to the government’s Russia probe had Schiff’s shorts in a wad again:
President Trump has intervened again in a pending investigation by ordering the selective disclosure of classified materials he believes to be helpful to his defense. The DOJ and FBI have previously informed me that release of some of this information would cross a “red line.”

Hmm, that’s interesting, because Schiff sounded very different about all that during the final weeks of the Obama presidency:
Pleased Obama Administration undertaking full review of Russian hacking into our elections. They should declassify as much of it as possible pic.twitter.com/qzf0U8n85P

Hey, maybe Trump was just doing exactly as Schiff recommended:
He said, "declassify as much of it as possible." BWAH HA HA HA HA. https://t.co/at8TUEyxJl

And Schiff didn’t even bother to thank Trump!

What a hypocritical piece of trash. It shows the title of Senator does not give you integrity or absolve you from hypocrisy. https://t.co/rrpAYxJ0XJ

Schiff’s the name, hypocrisy’s the game.
