Slate offered up another alleged reason for the Resistance to dislike Trump with this tweet promoting a story about the president and tech:
Two years into his presidency and Donald Trump still doesn’t use computers: https://t.co/KWfGujyaju pic.twitter.com/YHyVHCtXYZ

People noticed something confusing about the claim made in the tweet vs. the photo:
That’s such a cool paperweight!#MeWant pic.twitter.com/Rq26ZGDEQT

A fancy calculator of some sort? A piece of cardboard perhaps?
Interesting that this pic clearly shows a laptop opened and up and running ??

Well that’s weird.
There is a open laptop literally on his desk behind him in this very picture https://t.co/8oQbJnqrJz

He's on AF1 and that device on his left looks like a computer. https://t.co/1zH7y0qr1V

No one on Slate's editorial staff thought it would be a good idea to look at the photo they used?#FakeNews https://t.co/8Ut5szl1Q4

Keep the tweet if you must, but perhaps crop the picture more tightly so we don't see….the computer? Also, maybe stop letting high school interns publish content.

So what is the device located directly behind him?
Nevermind, that's a laptop….not a computer. SMHhttps://t.co/1ZOquLp3VR

I guess that's just an expensive paper weight disguised as a laptop on the desk.

Also, if a smartphone is considered a computing device, we’re pretty sure Trump’s tweets are evidence that he does use computers, in one form or another.
