As Twitchy told you yesterday, reports saying that the National Enquirer “kept a safe containing documents on hush money payments and other damaging stories it killed as part of its cozy relationship with Donald Trump leading up to 2016 presidential election” combined with news that prosecutors have granted immunity to David Pecker, the publisher of the National Enquirer, kept social media buzzing all day. The news also meant there were a lot of comments directed towards the National Enquirer — or in some cases what people thought was the National Enquirer. The Cincinnati Enquirer reached its limit within a short time:
