Michigan gubernatorial candidate Abdul El-Sayed is a favorite of Bernie Sanders, and another “Democratic Socialist” is also on board his campaign. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez took a break from campaigning in New York to come to Michigan to throw some extra socialist weight behind El-Sayed’s push to be the next governor:

Ocasio-Cortez drew quite the crowd, and the journo presence also appeared to be heavy.

There were definitely a lot there, along with many others who seemed to be enthralled by the New York congressional candidate.

Could one of the reasons she was welcomed in a more conservative area be that many Republicans believe far Left Dems are going to be a detriment to their own party in November?
