As Twitchy told you yesterday, Jimmy Kimmel defended his silence about Harvey Weinstein by saying he’s not “the moral conscience of America” (as CNN dubbed him), that he’s not in the movie business and Weinstein is not a friend of his. Kimmel took his case on Good Morning America on Friday:

Here’s something Kimmel said in the interview:
KIMMEL: So, you know,of course, that was it’s a convenient — now what they’re doing now is they’re trying to drag up any kind of — especially these gun nuts trying to drag any — like take any comedy bit I did out of context and use it as some kind of proof. They’re saying that I’m calling myself the moral conscience of America which I most certainly never did and most certainly never would.
Not long ago, a video flashback from a “comedy” segment featuring Kimmel made the rounds:

Is this among the bits Kimmel blames “gun nuts” for taking “out of context”? Here’s the GMA interview clip along with a “comedy bit” Kimmel once did:

How “gun nuts” managed to take that video out of context is anybody’s guess.
@jimmykimmel You say your old comedy bit’s we’re “taken out of context “. What part of “feel my crotch” was taken out of context, Kimmel?
