N.C. investigation finds exact number of votes cast illegally in 2016 general election

An investigation by election officials in North Carolina found that several hundred ballots were cast by people not legally allowed to do so:

According to News & Observer, 441 of those voters “appear to have been serving active felony sentences on Election Day” as well as “41 non-citizens who cast ballots, 24 voters who voted twice and two people who falsely voted using the name of a family member who’d recently died.”
