A message to the unhinged lunatics from Obama's education secretary. https://t.co/OfCYBWnVA7

New Education Secretary Betsy DeVos was attempting to visit a school in Washington, DC when protesters blocked her path, and then harassed DeVos on her way back to a vehicle, which one person then attempted to block. Former Education Secretary in the Obama administration Arne Duncan came to the defense of DeVos this way:
Agree or disagree w @BetsyDeVos on any issue, but let's all agree she really needs to be in public schools. Please let her in.

As you might imagine, Duncan kicked a #Resistance hornet’s nest:
@arneduncan @jaketapper @BetsyDeVos She was only there for a photo-op. Not to engage or learn about it.

@arneduncan @BetsyDeVos why, so she can try and close them?

Hey man, did you notice there's a revolution brewing? Are you in or out? https://t.co/0M3ZFCxXmW

@arneduncan no

@arneduncan @BetsyDeVos I must respectfully disagree. We need to stall her destruction and wait for the regime to crumble.

@arneduncan @BetsyDeVos Brave women fight through more people than that every day at birth control clinics across our nation. That was sad!
