There were some in Hollywood who were waving fists in the air during what was happening last night in Berkeley. However, liberal actor George Takei claimed those rioting last night were actually trying to undermine the anti-Trump movement:
Hint: If they've got black ski masks and carry crowbars, they aren't peaceful protestors. They're outside agitators trying to discredit us.

Not everybody’s fully on board with Takei’s take on this one:
Having grown up with a former-SDS parent, I can confidently say that this is not true. https://t.co/szykb7dFof

They're definitely not peaceful protesters, that's true.
But "outside agitators?" Bitch, please. https://t.co/L0lwaqIgdM

I mean, how is it these "outside agitators" always seem to show up at your rallies demanding the same things you are?

So why are they at every one of your marches? https://t.co/WhV5ueNZFg

@GeorgeTakei They are at every single "protest". From Ferguson to Baltimore to Chicago to Dallas to Berkeley. The masked people are with you

Keep telling yourself they aren't on your side, George. https://t.co/vTQYHpKxZU

@GeorgeTakei No, theyre not out to discredit you, theyre your allies. Your disingenuousity is appalling, you should be ashamed..

Seems @GeorgeTakei is smart enough to disavow the crazies. Let victims sue @DebraMessing and other idiots cheering them on. https://t.co/7loBgfm2kr

Oh, they're just outside agitators! You know, like Sarah Silverman. https://t.co/CH9UNcujqc
