A pair of Democrats are apparently fearful that President Trump could decide to just start pushing buttons, and are looking to curb his presidential powers:

Good luck with this:
Rep. Ted W. Lieu and Sen. Edward J. Markey, both Democrats, introduced legislation on Tuesday that would forbid the president from launching a nuclear strike without first having Congress declare war.
The bill expresses clear doubts in President Donald Trump’s judgment, with the lawmakers saying in a joint release “the crucial issue of nuclear ‘first use’ is more urgent than ever now that President Donald Trump has the power to launch a nuclear war at a moment’s notice.”
The mockery level has been raised to DEFCON 1:

@AdamBaldwin oh cmon thats just silly . they are starting to believe their own lies now.

@AdamBaldwin Instead of trying to put together any reasonable opposition, they're trying to paint Trump as unstable. This is why they lose.

@YahooNews Yeah, call me when they succeed. The day after never.

Here’s a way to approach this story that the MSM won’t touch:
@MelissaTweets better headline "Democrats carry Russia's water by hindering American readiness"
