Sitting or taking a knee during the National Anthem started with Colin Kaepernick and was soon embraced by some other NFL players. Now, their “inspiration” has spread:

At least Kaepernick doesn’t appear to have inspired the school band to wear “pig cop” socks. At least not yet.
Not everybody agreed with Silverman that is was such a great thing:
