Aww, does Vox feel threatened by the adults? https://t.co/S6FKt37f2D

As we told you earlier this week, the University of Chicago sent a letter to incoming students reminding them that the school would not condone the creation of safe spaces “where individuals can retreat from ideas and perspectives at odds with their own.” The university’s letter sent special snowflakes to their fainting couches, and now it’s Vox’s turn to Voxsplain the situation:
UChicago's anti-safe spaces letter isn’t about academic freedom. It’s about power. https://t.co/9eyEvCz7SW

How very Voxxy.

@EsotericCD they are usually better at hiding their neo-Marxist assumptions

@voxdotcom That is dumb. Liberals used to support free speech on campus. They should again. Unless they doubt their ideas.

@voxdotcom Free market, nice for students to have the choice to go somewhere with free speech w/o mentally ill dullards censoring it

@voxdotcom It really scares you that the other side will have a voice at one of the nations most prestigious university's doesn't it? Good.

I broke my usual boycott of Vox to read this stupid, stupid article and now I deeply reget it https://t.co/tSuQCUbONa

Believe it or not, many agree that it is about power — just not in the way Vox wants it to be:
Safe spaces and diversity offices are also about power. https://t.co/Sk1jLTIwOW

@voxdotcom Yes it is about curtailing the power of the wannabe Robespierres from shutting down debate they do not like
— Rashtrakut (@Rashtrakut) August 26, 2016
It is about power. It's about saying a tiny group of #SocialJustice totalitarians don't have the power to abuse the rest of us. @voxdotcom
