FBI Director James Comey is being questioned by the House Oversight Committee about his decision to recommend no charges against Hillary Clinton in the wake of the email scandal. During opening statements, Rep. Elijah Cummings gave a vigorous defense of the FBI and Clinton.
Now Elijah Cummings, the most partisan person on the committee, will whine about how partisan everything is.

Cummings’ explanation for why Hillary Clinton wasn’t charged is as laughable as it gets:

Rep. Elijah Cummings to Comey “If prosecutors had moved fwd they would have been holding Sec. Clinton to higher standard than everyone else"
— Edward Mejia Davis (@TeddyDavisCNN) July 7, 2016
So they wanted to make sure Hillary remained “just like us”? Puh-leeze!
Reality check for Dems:
Dear Rep. Cummings. The Secretary of State SHOULD be held to a higher standard.

Or, in Hillary’s case, any standard would have been nice.
