Is this really Chicago’s biggest problem at the moment?

From the Chicago Tribune:
Chicago hotels, restaurants and grocery stores would not be allowed to require patrons to prove their gender in order to use restrooms under a proposal Mayor Rahm Emanuel introduced Wednesday.
The ordinance, which members of the city’s LGBT caucus also sponsored, would strengthen the city’s human rights ordinance to bring it in line with recent guidelines enacted by Chicago Public Schools regarding restroom usage in school facilities, according to Emanuel’s office.
Hey, it’s not like Emanuel should has anything else to worry about, right?
The city is broke and crime is soaring, so by all means let's focus on bathrooms. https://t.co/ErX1IXfGDY

Maybe the mayor should work on the city's crime and murder rates…or do Chicago values not care about that? https://t.co/gxUfAH3w7M

Chicago government's values more directly reflected in bond rating of junk. https://t.co/RkJC1cVjqp
