The New York Times Editorial Board has endorsed Hillary Clinton to be nominated by the Democrats.

In an attempt to appear fair they’ve got to give the nod to a candidate running for the GOP nomination, which they’ve done:

Is Kasich the GOP candidate the NYT editorial board considers most likely to lose to Hillary in the general?

  • MrApple

    Was he still running?

    • Ham ☑ – Only ✝Christ Matters

      He thinks he is.

Kasich is not even a RINO. He is a DIABLO = Demonrat In All But Label Only.

      • Ariadnea

Bwa-ha-ha! That’s so apt and hilarious!

      • MoxieLouise1

Much like Seabiscuit, he’s just waiting for the right moment to make his move.

      • san rafael blue

How fitting, since Diablo also means The Devil!

  • Karla1953

Pfft……………….he got the kiss of death long before this………………..

  • Newportcarl

(Pant pant) I just got here. Tell me again, what’s the New York Times?

    • johnstretton

      • Newportcarl

        (Puff puff…whew) Thanks.

        • Penny✓ItsSoFluffy! #GoBolts!

Actually it’s “tobacco” rolling paper. Wink wink

          • aztectrumpet

Yea. Tobacco. That’s it. Totally just tobacco.

I teach my kids not to worry about the opinions of people who don’t have their best interests at heart. Just because everyone has an opinion doesn’t mean their opinion matters to you, or isn’t being shared with you out of malice. Is one of the Twitchy trolls making the NYT endorsements?

The only “Republican” besides Kasich who cares about this is Juan Ellis Bush, because he thought he was going to get it.

  • FreedomFighter

That’s like Reid saying he’s leaning towards Trump.

  • Michelle ✓classified

“…tired of extremism…” Damn hilarious to see that coming from the NY Times.

  • Bella Pelosi

That’s like Jeffery Dahmer saying your restaurant is 5 stars

    • Chuck Vipperman

  • Eva_Galley

Well, maybe he’ll get a part in a “High Karate” redux commercial.
    (‘boomers will know…..)

    • BillinDetroit

      Hai Karate

  • HiltonHead_Dude

Wasn’t a fan of his show on FOX and still not a fan of his now as a candidate. The NYT endorsement didn’t concern me but his reaction certainly confirmed by initial feelings about him.

  • Chuck Vipperman

    And criminals endorse Gun-Free Zones.

  • reddarin

“I would love to see Kasich win the nomination,”

What the hell is wrong with you?

  • Tony

National Lampoon puts out a better product than the pathetic NY Times…….
    Liberals are a disgusting breed

Kasich is the Governor of my state and I wouldn’t vote for him to be dog catcher. The only reason he’s still in power is because the last Republican Gov screwed up so badly that it gave rise to the absolute and complete disaster that was Kasich’s predecessor. He is not any more fiscally or socially conservative than your average 80’s era democrat and his greatest strength, politically, is his eagerness to compromise or simply throw in the proverbial towel when the struggle’s too difficult. He caved on union control of state employees, even with a majority in both houses, grabbed eagerly for the Medicaid deal, and has played fast and loose with state law in order to allow a casino oligarchy.
Anyway, that’s my two cents on Kasich. In my opinion he’d be worse than even the donny because he hasn’t got the donny’s sense of entitlement.

    • Andrew Curlutu

Kasich is a schmuck. That’s really anybody needs to know about him, and I should know as I’m stuck with him as well in Ohio.

  • Andrew

Translation: “Kasich is close enough to not being conservative that we might consider inviting a supporter of his to be the token Republican at our next cocktail party.”

  • Wonder Pony

    Never heard of her.

  • WyoRocks

Politics aside for a second. We have too many people that trust a newspaper, celebrity, or other media source for these endorsements. Perhaps it’s too late for our low-information society.

  • surearrow

LIke saying…hey maybe we shouldnt overhaul the entire Medical Care system in the United States, Redefine a definition to mean something its never meant in history, and maybe we should leave some troops in Iraq…so ISIS doesnt gain a foothold.

  • John Hitchcock

John Kasich is proud to get the endorsement of The Left-Wing Elite. That should tell you enough about John Kasich, my Governor. I was proud of him in the 90s, as he was writing the Gingrich “balanced” budget (that was never balanced) which Democrats give Clinton credit for. Not proud of him now.

My daughter is busily teaching my 6 year old grandson (who was advanced a grade by the public school and is Youth Mensa-qualified) real math, to make up for the fact Ohio has Kasich-approved Communist Corpse in its schools.

  • rogleecam

Kasich???? How about Mickey Mouse while you’re at it!

    • John Hitchcock

My Iraq vet daughter has told me she just might write in Mickey Mouse if The Hair gets the nomination. She will never vote for The Hair, and Mickey Mouse is a better choice.

      • aztectrumpet

I’ll write in whoever i vote for in the primary if trump gets the nom.

      • Grumpy Granny

My 17-year-old grandson told me he’d prefer my dog over T—-.

  • Wanderer

“We endorse John Kasich because he’s the least Republican of the Republicans left with any hope at all.”

  • Jim Denney

Juan Kasich can be counted on to preserve and build on the BHO legacy. Yippee … the slow road to communism.

  • interestedobserver2

Every liberal I know supports Kasich as the GOP nominee. Which tells me everything I need to know about why he will never be the GOP nominee.

  • objectivefactsmatter

And the Democratic Party’s choice for Republican nominee is…

  • Katepatate

Well, guess that shows just how conservative he isn’t.

  • Russ

I don’t understand why Kasich is still running. Same goes for Santorum, Huck, and Gilmore. Heck, until the kiddie table debate earlier this week, I’d forgotten Gilmore was running.

  • ToyZebra

Thank you New York Times. Maybe that will get rid of him.

  • Oysteria (I won)

Someone tell me who, if anyone, at the NYT has any idea what “conservative” even means. Really, a paper that would endorse Hillary (or Bernie, for that matter) has proven they can’t even display the slightest judgement about what is good for the country.

  • Dan Shoop

I suppose Bloomberg for VP would be OK too, right NYT?

  • Ken3690

If the NYT can’t take it’s own endorsements seriously, why should we?

In the same vein, their endorsement of the moral vacuum known as Hillary has got to be tongue-in-cheek.

Why is “extremism” only a Republican issue to lame-ass organizations such as the NYT?

  • John Howard

They picked Kasich because his dad was a mailman.

  • maggieinWY

Please, pleeeeeez let it be the kiss of death. Every time he opens his mouth I want to plow my fist into his face.

  • lainer51

  • JV

He n Jeb are doing it out of love

  • Dan Buchanan

    What, David Brooks wasn’t running

  • ThomasCollins1

“John Kasich would give Republicans a chance to reset…”

They endorse clinton, and then use the word “reset” to describe the GOP?
