Earlier today, President Obama announced that his administration was officially rejecting construction of the Keystone XL pipeline in the U.S. Among the reasons Obama offered was that the pipeline would contribute to climate change.
Fox News’ Brit Hume points out that the decision not to build it will also have an environmental impact:
WSJ says Obama will reject Keystone XL pipeline. Well of course. So now oil will flow to refineries far more polluting than those in U.S.

And get to the ports via trains instead of a pipeline. After all, what could go wrong? https://t.co/81P8J9mrlR

But at least Obama can brag about his decision at the upcoming U.N. Climate Summit:
@brithume SCIENCE! Lets make decision..that pollutes the planet more!
