The White House has taken heat lately for not going to Paris, brushing off Benjamin Netanyahu and blowing off the 70th anniversary of liberation of Auschwitz. Obama will however be going to Saudi Arabia to pay respects after the death of King Abdullah:

Obama is scheduled to arrive in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday.

Obama did not send a high level administration official to England for Margaret Thatcher’s funeral in 2013.

The White House cited an inability to put together a security plan on short notice as a reason Obama didn’t go to the unity rally in France, but that’s apparently not a concern this time.
