In Michigan, Rick Snyder, the Republican governor who signed that state’s “Right to Work” legislation into law, has also been declared victorious.
AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka, whose union contributed millions this year toward efforts to elect union-friendly politicians, blasted the presence of money in politics for the Walker and Snyder victories:
“Big money backers”? That’s funny.
