Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech at the Unites Nations in New York City was a direct defense of Israel’s actions against Hamas and a pointed reminder of the terrorist threats the world faces. Netanyahu also had warnings about Iran:
“To defeat #ISIS and leave Iran as a threshold nuclear power is to win the battle and lose the war.” – Israel PM Netanyahu at #UNGA

Netanyahu singled out the UN’s Human Rights Council for being an “oxymoron”:
Wow. Netanyahu pulling no punches. "The UN Human Rights Council is an oxymoron." Awesome. And true.

Netanyahu coined a new name for the Council:
Benjamin Netanyahu just called the UN Human Rights Council the Terrorist Human Rights Council… in front of the UN.

Ouch!
Fox News reported in April that Iran has been gaining prominence at the U.N. in spite of its human rights record. The U.S. State Department considers Iran one of the world’s biggest sponsors of terrorism. With that in mind, Netanyahu’s calling out of the U.N. Human Rights Council was applauded:

Benjamin Netanyahu, PM of Israel, lays into UN Human Rights Council over its dereliction on standards. Long overdue. pic.twitter.com/TzuusHbemH

RT @melissamoore: "The UN Human Rights Council is an oxymoron, but I'll use it anyway."

Unfortunately, #Netanyahu making his case to the UN is like a gazelle pleading with the hyenas. #tcot
