Rep. Jim Moran, a Virginia Democrat, took to the House floor today to push for the closure of the Guantanamo Bay prison camp, which was one of President Obama’s campaign promises years ago:
Holding detainees indefinitely without charge or trial flies in the face of all we hold dear #CloseGitmo

Meanwhile, any optimism Rep. Moran might have that Gitmo will be shut down in the near future isn’t shared by the people who stock supplies at the prison. It would appear they’re gearing up for the long haul down there:
